Our partners at the Blue Train recently hosted 35 delegates from the Mining Indaba in a private charter for an experience of premium slow luxury. Guests included Minister of Tourism Derek Hanekom and Transnet Chairman Dr Popo Molefe who enjoyed an assortment of Boschendal’s finest blends and Cap Classique’s during the voyage.
Appropriate for any occasion, our famous Chardonnay Pinot Noir and Demi Sec Cap Classique welcomed guests to the sophisticated rail experience.
The guests were treated to picturesque views of the Cape Winelands while on-route to Tulbagh. The delightful food and wine pairings created by the chefs aboard the Blue Train were definite highlights, charming guests with culinary excellence.
The festivities continued beyond dinner, with exceptional Jazz, instrumental and opera acts keeping guests entertained.
The Blue Train has remained the ultimate luxury rail travel choice since 1946, the all-inclusive five-star luxury rail experience offers a unique way of experiencing some of Southern Africa’s magnificent landscapes and landmarks. We are proud to have a partner that promotes legacy, prestige and sophistication in the same way we do.
