Stylist and blogger Kefilwe Mabote is nationally recognised for her esteemed sense of taste and fervour for luxury. She is a dear friend to Boschendal and one of our co-creators, so we were delighted to attend and provide the MCCs for her holiday garden party.
In full festive spirit, our Marketing Manager Shirley Van Wyk and Thembi xx attended the event in celebration of an excellent and inspired year. Guests enjoyed the balmy summer sky, while socialising over their favourite selection of Boschendal MCCs.
As the season for spending time with those dearest to you, we were pleased to run into some cherished friends. Fashion Curator Karabo Rafudza, Entrepreneur Vika Shipalana and Fashion Enthusiast Athi Afikile were all amongst the guests at the event.
With event specialist Vicky Crease managing the kitchen, we enjoyed a dazzling festive menu, accompanied by our chilled MCCs. After an assortment of canapés, we indulged in a signature lamb crown and glazed turkey, coupled with our 1685 Chardonnay. As the drink of choice, the 1685 Chardonnay’s well-balanced, soft and buttery delivery, paired beautifully with a selection of sensational sides. These included: a curated Christmas wreath salad with creamy gorgonzola, baby spinach, toasted pecan nuts and caramelised pears.
The exclusive gathering had the sweetest of endings. Vicky and her team served a decadent white chocolate ganache tart accompanied by a crisp Boschendal Brut Rosé MCC. The perfect grand finale for a magical day.
A top tip? Our Brut Rosé MCC pairs beautifully with most things. Its sunset-hue makes it a gorgeous addition to any table, while its versatility lends it to sweet and savoury dishes, including seafood and summer salads.
