It is for all of these reasons, Boschendal chose to take on the lead sponsorship role of the Cosmo Hustle event. This year was an incredible success with ambitious women using the platform to meet and mingle and share their goals.
Readers were brought together in an environment that unlocked their potential and gave them the tools and confidence to build their brands.
Part of this came from the knowledge and insights shared by the speakers. Boschendal’s marketing manager Shirley van Wyk gave a talk on how the wine brand approaches influencer partnerships and selects partners who exemplify the ethos of empowering others. In her speech, Shirley shared that she believes women should embrace their ambitions and use every opportunity to propel their careers and lives forward.
Shirley said that she sees networking events like the Hustle as the perfect time to forge authentic relationships and overcome shared challenges, “We’ve partnered with many exceptional women and working with influencers like Lerato Kgamanyane and Tsakisani Mondlani have been two highlights for us. These kinds of partnerships will be seminal in building our brand among South African women going forward.”
