Our winemakers are justifiably proud since being voted as the Best South African Wine Producer at the 2004 International Wine & Spirits Competition in London , to the many medals, awards, trophies, accolades and outstanding ratings bestowed upon our wines.

But, perhaps far more importantly, it's that sense of accomplishment when one of our many visitors gets that twinkle in their eye, a wry smile on their face and an expression of delight when they swirl, sniff and sip our wines. We revel in the knowledge that every bottle of Boschendal wine is an experience and potentially the beginning of a long and fond relationship for each of our honoured guests­. The Boschendal winemaking team is young and energetic. What they lack in wrinkles and grey hair, they make up for in talent, enthusiasm and an unwavering commitment to producing the very best wines in the world.

With Cellarmaster and white winemaker Lizelle Gerber and red winemaker Thinus Kruger at the helm, Boschendal is building on its rich winemaking past, while striving to be on the forefront of the most cutting edge international trends in the cellar.
